ADVENT COURSE

We will be holding an Advent course on the four Tuesday evenings before Christmas (28 November to 19 October).  Each session will start at 7:30pm at the church.

The course will be based on the book "While we wait - living the questions of Advent".  Each week we will study a part of the book and the themes for each week are shown below.

During each session there will be time to think about and discuss the issues raised by the week's theme.

Tuesday 28 November - "Living in Hope"

Tuesday 5 December - "Finding a Home"

Tuesday 12 December - "The Wonder of being sought"

Tuesday 19 December - "Wrestling with Mystery"

 

Why come to an Advent course?

Advent is a time to prepare for the celebration of Christmas.
During the course, we will be thinking about the deeper meaning of Christmas, so preparing to better appreciate and celebrate the festival itself.
